Light and Sound Video Bracket

Standard accessory shoe size bracket for video lights and microphone.

The Light and Sound video bracket mounts on the camcorders accessory shoe to provide extra mounting points for a light, microphone or monitor.

NEW VERSION! The new Light and Sound bracket provides a lower profile design reducing pressure to the camera shoe mount. The new spring mechanism on the two shoe mounts further tightened the mounted accessory preventing it from sliding out.

Made of solid extruded aluminum. The light & sound bracket is a handy and ultra compact accessory.

Posted by Michael on 1/24/2010 2:23:00 PM Hello,

very nice gonna order soon 1 bracket, using atm the flash bracket but using it with the canon hv20 with the heavy wd-h43 wide lens is bending the bracket and this one looks better.

just quick question, which video lamp you using on the picture?

Replied by LA Color Online Michael, the camera light in the picture was LitePanels Micro. It is a really weak and over-price product. You can read about our review of the LP micro here

There're much better alternatives. Check out the Comer 900 light.

Posted by Justinisloco on 2/25/2010 5:25:00 PM I purchased the flash bracket 3 way shoe from you a little while back, but will this interfere if i kept the other one on as well? just wanted to double check!

Replied by LA Color Online Do you really need to mount that much accessories to your rig? =) It looks like it will add too much weight and make your rig sway.
Posted by Jennifer Poyser on 4/29/2010 12:26:00 AM Will this Light/Sound Bracket be ok for the Panasonic HMC150?

Replied by LA Color Online Hello Jennifer. This bracket can be mounted on any camera with the industry standard accessory shoe. If your HMC150 has a standard accessory shoe, it will work. Thanks

Will this bracket work on an HV30?
Posted by Frecks on 7/16/2010 11:30:00 AM Will this bracket work on a HV30, using my DM-50 Micophone?

Replied by LA Color Online Your DM-50 needs to be mounted directly to the hot shoe of your camera. You cannot use any bracket like this extending from the current hot shoe. You can try these

Posted by eiker_ir on 12/24/2010 5:00:00 PM hi, i have a Rode NTG-2 shotgun mic with the Rode SM-3 shock mount and was recently interested in getting the HDV-Z96 light. I intend to use both with my camcorder and this bracket seems to be a solution to use both on my camera, but i'm still not sure if the two would fit together in the bracket.

If possible could you tell me if the mic+shock mount could fit in the bottom shoe and the HDV-Z96 light in the upper shoe without touching eachother or causing any overlapping?

thanks for any help

What type of lens hood is used with the wide angle lens in the photo?

Replied by LA Color Online Hi David, the lens hood is the Canon XH-A1 lens hood mount on Canon WD-H43 wide angle lens on HV30.

Posted by David on 1/19/2011 10:55:00 AM One more question:- Will the Comer CM-LBPS1800 On-Camera LED Light along with the Rode mic unbalance the set-up or is their a better option?

Replied by LA Color Online That's the exact setup I'm using with T2i
