Not all white printable DVDs are created equal. The Taiyo Yuden watershield DVD delivers professional photo quality white inkjet medium print out. You will just have to try it to be wowed.

Taiyo Yuden/JVC Watershield GLOSSY White Inkjet Hub 16X DVD-R

Taiyo Yuden was recently acquired by JVC. However, make sure you are looking for
the glossy white hub printable blank DVDs. Those allow you to print all the way to the smallest inner rim (hub area) of the DVD to maximum the print area to show off your work.

Posted by Richard on 8/31/2010 12:27:00 AM I have used these JVC Taiyo Yuden Watershield DVDs for the past three years. They are nothing but amazing!! The surfaces print smooth and the glossy look screams professionalism. My clients love these discs... they think I have a silk-screen studio or some other high-end offset printing setup. If you need great DVD media and have a color inkjet capable of printing CD/DVDs, this is your disc!

Replied by LA Color Online Richard, thanks for your comment. Yes indeed the JVC/TY water-shield is the greatest thing since butter. I hope they will start making the same type of surface printing with BluRay blanks soon.
Posted by Larry Hume on 6/13/2011 9:32:00 AM I have tried printing these on my epson stylus photo 1400 and while the print looks great they always have thin lines that look like scratches?

Replied by LA Color Online It sounds like the problem is your printer that you need to clean the print head.
